The Red Deer is the largest and most beautiful of the Spanish cervids (deer family), reaching as much as 200 kilos (440 pounds) depending on the territory. The stag as well as being majestic is a svelte, haughty animal, which during the mating period abandons serenity in the attempt to gather the greatest number of does possible, showing no respect for other stags. Without doubt a stag during the mating season is a truly magnificent sight.

The largest concentration of red deer are found in Castilla La Mancha, Andalucia, and Extremadura, where we have the best places to capture the sought after deer. In this instance the season is from September to February.

We recommend September and October, to coincide with the mating season. It is during this period when the Stags have spectacular combats in defense of their harems, offering the possibility of capturing great trophies and guarantteing 100% success in the hunt. A truly unforgettable show.
