The Roe deer, sometimes called “the elf of the forest”, is the smallest and most elegant cervid found in Spain. It stands out for the size of its antlers, its sharpness and its agile and elegant movements.
Roe stalking is becoming increasingly more popular attracting increasing numbers of hunters to Spain. The roe deer is cunning and extremely cautious. During the mating season the bucks behavior changes; led by instinct they chase the does and this makes it the perfect moment to find the best specimens in the area.
The preferred moment to locate and bring down the best specimens is the beginning of April or the end of July, although October is also available as a last resort. We have reserves close to cities offering quick and easy access and allowing us to adapt to the hunters requirements.
